This directive is currently being transposed into national law and will enter into force sometime in 2025 and will apply to governments and at least 30,000 companies. <\/span><\/p><p>This page contains an overview of the Essential Entities as named in the NIS2.<\/p><p>These are large organizations that are active in a sector from the table below. An organization is large based on the following criteria:<\/p><ul><li>At least 250 employees or;<\/li><li>An annual turnover of \u20ac50 million or more and a balance sheet total of \u20ac43 million
